Personally, being a RENT! fanatic myself, I greatly enjoyed the fact that the show took place on the rooftop of a commercial shopping mall in the neighborhood, Talpiot, one of the industrial zones of Jerusalem. This out of the box courtesy made the entire atmosphere extremely authentic.
Cast with a myriad of both veteran and amateur performers, the portrayal was true to Jonathan Larson’s original screen play right down to the stage presence and costume design — with the exception of one scene. Tonight’s the final night of production and remaining tickets are slim, but if you’re quick, you might just make it!
